Privacy Policy
Rowly is designed to work without creating a Rowly account. Your project content stays on your devices and, when enabled, in your private iCloud database.
Information you create
Rowly stores project names, row counts, row reminders and project notes locally on your iPhone and Apple Watch. If iCloud is available, Rowly backs up this information to your private CloudKit database so it can be restored on devices signed in to the same Apple Account. Apple processes this information under its own privacy terms.
Device synchronization
Rowly exchanges project information between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple system frameworks. Rowly does not operate a proprietary account system or server for this content.
Analytics
Rowly uses Amplitude to understand aggregate product usage, such as app opens, counter actions, saved reminders and completed cloud backups. These events can include the platform and technical identifiers supplied by the analytics service. Rowly does not intentionally send project names, notes, cue text, row values or persistent project identifiers to analytics. Analytics data is processed in Amplitude’s United States infrastructure.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple. Rowly uses RevenueCat to retrieve product offerings and determine whether Rowly Pro is active. RevenueCat may process purchase status, product identifiers, app-user identifiers and related technical information. Rowly does not receive or store your payment-card details.
Tracking and advertising
Rowly does not display third-party advertising and does not sell personal information. Rowly does not use project content for advertising.
Retention and deletion
Local data remains until you delete projects or remove the app. Removing the app may not remove an existing private iCloud backup. You can manage iCloud data through your Apple Account settings. Analytics and purchase-service records are retained according to the applicable providers’ policies and legal obligations.
Children
Rowly is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy when Rowly’s features or service providers change. The current version will remain available at this URL with its effective date.
